I want to start this review by saying clay chimineas in my own opinion are much cleaner in the scents of having minimal mess ash to clean after use. May I also add if you follow the care and protection guidance this will be a great purchase at first glance this seems to be a well crafted product and when not in use it is convenient enough to fit into a neat space 😀
We received out firepit last week and we are so so happy with it! We have put it on a coffee table in our pergola and it has honestly changed our lives! It is absolutely stunning and if you buy one you won’t regret it! Customer service was also first class so if you’re looking to buy a firepit, then this is definitely the place to buy one from!
Fantastic addition to the bbq pit, highly recommend it for a great bbq experience. I’m not going to say any more check the pictures out. Also the service and info by Neil was 10/10. Thanks S
We're absolutely delighted. Vastly superior to the original Fire pit. It fits perfectly and is extremely.ely robust.
Bought this over a year ago , use it loads , kicks out lots of heat - wipes clean easily
Really enjoy it ….cover is quite good but it has torn so I’m having to replace mine lasted almost two years so not a moan
The xclusive decor mobile pizza oven it fantastic. The quality is superb and you feel like you are getting something that is made with care. I am looking forward to having family pizza parties for many years to come. Communications and delivery excellent Highly recommend fire pit company. Picture are of curing days :-)
We have bought a "do-er upper" along Nidd River in Knaresborough. We haven't had a kitchen for 8 weeks, so we thought we'd cook outside when the weather is good. Absolutely love the Bonfue fire bowl and full BBQ ring. Perfect for steaks and burgers. Even my partner, who uses a gas BBQ only, was very, very impressed!
The chimenea arrived in perfect condition and is true to size and colour the delivery was in record time and in time for the birthday We are really pleased all round with the purchase and service thank you
A very well built sturdy fire pit, and excellent customer service when I thought I had to change fire pit for a different size
The perfect firepit. I absolutely love it definitely worth the money
This is an awesome grill. It’s obvious that this is a traditional wood smoker but it is also great for charcoal cooking too. It has a nice large cooking area ideal for regulating the temperature while charcoal grilling, with two shelves to use. It’s got an easy fill water bath that has a spout on the outside, meaning you don’t have to open the lid when smoking (which will drop the temp) a V-shaped insert that catches all the fat and juices and that drips out into a bucket, a hot plate on top of the fire that you can put sauces/onions/veg etc, and not forgetting the fact that it looks absolutely stunning!! I’ve had gas and charcoal bbq’s in the past and have never exactly been excited to use them. This thing though, changes that for me completely! It’s not cheap, but this should be the last bbq you’ll ever need to buy! If you want a proper wood smoker that you can use for charcoal grilling too, and a show piece in your garden, this is it!
Can’t thank Firepit.co.uk enough for their help and advice, you can tell there’s a passion for bbq grilling there. A rare old fashioned level of customer service that you don’t see very often these days!
Good packaging, instructions easy to follow for assembly, well made and a great product. Highly recommend.
On no account place on paving stones. Despite placing a thick fire proof mat beneath it burnt through and cracked and discoloured the paving. Looks beautiful and sturdy construction so given two stars. On the right surface ( sand? ) would make a stylish fire pit. Description on web needs to come with a warning.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, first may I say that we are really pleased to hear you’re enjoying the Boston fire pit and that you like its look and build. It’s a great piece, and your comments will definitely be helpful for others considering it.
We’re very sorry to hear about the damage to your paving stone. With any wood-burning fire pit, especially models like the Boston that sit very close to the ground, we wouldn’t usually recommend placing it directly onto paving stones. Even with a fireproof mat, the intense heat generated can cause cracking or discolouration.
If you are using paving stones, we’d recommend placing a leftover paving stone beneath the fire pit to create an extra barrier. This can offer added protection and also help gauge how well the paving copes with the heat over time.
For wood burners so close to the ground, ideally you would create a dedicated base using sand, gravel, or another heat-tolerant material. This can also look really good but also acknowledge that removing paving stones isn’t always desirable.
Bought this after much consideration and online search. I wanted a good quality fire pit with a grill option, made from steel, and solid enough that would outlast more than one Cumbrian summer... and this seemed like the best fit for what I wanted. My second option was something much, much more expensive, so I am glad I gave this one a chance as the quality is outstanding. Cannot recommend it enough!
The Bobfeu fire bowl took a while to arrive. Customer service were very responsive and helpful. The fire bowl was worth waiting for. It’s excellent quality and looks great - and perfect to sit around on a summer’s evening.
Excellent fire pit. Good quality. Well made
Nice tone
Ordered a new XL Chimenea since my last one finally gave up the ghost. Really happy with the new Chimenea hence the rating. It took a while to arrive but that was expected. It arrived undamaged which was a concern, but the packaging was pretty good and the delivery company were gentle. My only gripe about the order was in regards to the Chimenea cover that i ordered. You definitely need a cover to preserve the life of your Chimenea. For £30 i expected a very good cover. unfortunately it doesnt fit very well at all - it just about stretches over the largest diameter of this particular size of chimenea and doesnt reach the floor. The chimney cover section is far too long and flaps around. The material is simple 'tarp' material which is ok but I have to be honest - there are much better quality material / fitting covers on Amazon at half the price.
Looks great, great air flow for a really good smokeless fire, highly recommend.
So much better than I hoped for, good quality product, good service and good delivery, really pleased thank you.
Recently bought few of the Regulators, they are very easy to install and 100% safe, overall very happy with the product. Thank you
We are absolutely delighted with our purchase and highly satisfied with the customer service we received from Neil. He was incredibly helpful throughout the process, ensuring that nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend to others.
I bought this as a 40th birthday present to myself to level up my smoking and BBQ game! I also run a deli sandwich shop, so it’s perfect for making pulled pork sandwiches, which I used to cook on my old whisky barrel smoker.
I’ve only done a couple of cooks so far, but every joint has been a winner! From smaller cooks—like a few racks of ribs and some chicken—to filling the smoker with five pork collars, a 3kg pork belly, and a rack of ribs, it has performed brilliantly.
Communication with Firepit was excellent. They kept me updated on delivery times, but keep in mind it travels quite a distance, so don’t expect next-day delivery!
