The Adezz Forno 100cm Barbecue Grill with square base is a combination of a spherical fire bowl, grill and square base. The fire bowl has a round wide, thick flat roasting plate that you use as teppanyaki or plancha.
The roasting plate has different cooking temperatures. The centre of the plate is hotter than the outer edges so cooking is easier to regulate and all of your ingredients can be cooked and then served together.

Not only can you cook on the plancha, you can also use the BBQ grill at the same time. The BBQ grill fits neatly over the centre of the fire bowl, so all that the smoky flavour is captured in the cooking.
The plancha/teppanyaki ring is made from 10mm Carbon Steel and has a 100cm diameter. This is a large Barbeque grill and can easily accommodate a sizeable gathering of family and friends.

About Corten Steel:
Corten steel, also known as weathering steel, is a type of steel that weathers naturally over time. It develops a unique, attractive and protective layer of rust when exposed to weather. This coat will protect against further corrosion and will keep the under layer of steel in perfect condition. Corten Steel is strong, durable and long lasting.
When you use the Barbecue Grill for the first time, it is important to make a small fire for the first 25 minutes before increasing the fire. The heavy roasting plate will become significantly warmer on the underside than on the upper side. Due to this temperature difference, the plate will draw hollow. You do this only once, after the plate has ‘settled’ this procedure is no longer necessary.
The Barbecue Grill works best the more you use it, because the oil "seasons" the metal plancha. Cooking on the roasting plate will be easier after the oil has ‘burnt-in’, this also protects the plate from rusting when not in use. The best is to use a vegetable oil with a high degree of combustion, such as sunflower oil.
The cooking oil and food remains can be slid into the fire with a spatula after use. If desired, the roasting plate can be cleaned with a damp cloth before use. The Barbecue Grill can withstand all types of weather and requires no further maintenance.
Thanks to the heavy duty adjustable feet, it can be placed stably on almost any surface. The design also takes into account that this heavily executed cooking unit can be moved; the total unit consists of various parts that can be easily assembled or disassembled without tools.
Because of the elements that are active in the alloys of steel, the protective layer develops. This renews constantly when subjected to the influence of water and oxygen.
It can take up to 12 months of exterior exposure for the rust condition to stabilise. During this time it can bleed, meaning some rust will run off onto the surrounding area which can leave a stain. Avoid any light coloured paving slabs or stones where the rust bleed will be visible.
